I am a science nerd. I have spent my weekly 9 to 5 as a microscopist for the past 20+ years, capturing images of things that cannot be seen with the naked eye. In my spare time, I continue to capture images, just on a different size scale. A sports fan and a lover of the outdoors, my main areas of interest are sports and nature photography.

Along those lines, I believe that all athletes have a right to feel a sense of inclusion, safety, and support. I also see a large disparity in the amount of positive coverage that women, transgender, intersex, non-binary, genderqueer, and genderfluid athletes receive. As a father of two daughters and a friend and ally to many in this community, I like to focus my lens in their direction with the hope that I can capture their power and presence in the positive light they so much deserve.
